About
Paperwork that keeps up with the truck
A tow job takes twenty minutes. Writing the invoice afterwards shouldn't take another twenty, and it shouldn't require an account, a subscription, or a laptop back at the office.
What this tool is
Free Tow Invoice is a browser-based generator for towing invoices and paid receipts. You fill in the job — the charges, the route, the vehicle — and it produces a print-ready A4 PDF you can email, print, or hand to the customer where they stand.
It is built around how towing is actually billed: a hookup fee, loaded mileage, winching, storage by the day, after-hours surcharges. Not a generic invoice template with the word “tow” dropped into a heading.
Why it's free
The tool costs nothing to use, with no account, no trial period, and no watermark on the document. Its purpose is to be genuinely useful to operators rather than to funnel you into a subscription you don't need.
How your data is handled
Every invoice you create is built entirely in your own browser. The PDF is generated on your device. Nothing you type — customer names, addresses, plate numbers, or charges — is transmitted to us or to anyone else, and nothing is stored on a server.
The tool remembers your last document in your own browser's local storage, so you don't retype your company details on every job. That data stays on your device and is cleared whenever you clear your browser data.
Because nothing is uploaded, generated invoices can never appear in search results. Read the full privacy policy.
What it isn't
This is not accounting software and not a substitute for professional tax or legal advice. It produces the document; how you record the income and remit tax remains your responsibility. Tax rates you enter are applied as you specify them.
